Sylvia Tilly
Star Trek Discovery
Born in 2223 on Earth, her parents were Federation luminaries. Her mother, a member of the Federation Diplomatic Corp, she sits on the security council, her father, a decorated Starfleet officer. Tilly’s childhood was spent shuttled between boarding schools, being dragged halfway around the galaxy by her ever traveling mother…the two never saw eye to eye. A whole lifetime to her disappointing with her disinterest in politics and aristocratic pastimes, Tilly decided to live for herself, embracing her love of science and engineering by running away from her high security boarding school. Tilly hacked her way off planet, through multiple Federation security checkpoints, and out of Federation space. She might have ended up in jail if it hadn’t been so damn impressive. Deciding to enlist, she began her Starfleet career, serving upon the experimental USS Discovery as engineering Cadet before her promotion to Ensign in the field, and becoming the youngest officer to be promoted into the Command Training Program. With dreams of being a Captain one day, Tilly does everything out of love. Fiercely loyal to her friends, an embodiment of the Starfleet ideals of peace and discovery, she reached out into the stars and made a found family.

Feng Wu
Dance of the Phoenix

Right up until a failed assanation attempt left her cast out, stripped of her titles and to fend for herself. Turns out the Empress wasn’t such a big fan of her after all. With a deep sense of justice, knowing right from wrong and uncompromising in her ethics, she uses her training in cultivation and medicine to help those who need it. Being a God is hard work but...helping people is worth it.

Jay Halstead
Chicago PD
Born and raised in Chicago, specifically, the cities historically Irish south side neighbourhood of Canaryville. Jay rarely talks about his family. A sour relationship with his father, and being deployed in Afghanistan when his mother died, he never managed to reconcile with his father before his death. He speaks rarely about his time in the Army, serving as a sniper in the 3rd Battalion 75t. Ranger regiment, he was a highly decorated officer and yet rarely talks about his time in service. Leaving the US army after his second tour, Jay returned home, joining the Chicago Police Department. After spending three years on patrol he had a short stint in Organised Crime before moving to the Intelligence Unit. While Jay is reserved, and he keeps his past close to his chest, he is a good officer, takes his job seriously, with a sprinkling of sarcasm on the side.

Lucy Chen
The Rookie
Growing up in LA Lucy is the daughter of two psychologists who originally joined the police force as an act of rebellion, only to find herself committed to her new career. She adores being a police officer, so much so that even being kidnapped and buried alive by a deranged serial killer didn’t dent her love for her profession. A talented officer, who deeply adores her found family, she will go the extra mile for both her coworkers, and the citizens they deal with in their every day jobs. Upon finishing her probationary year, Chen is promoted to Officer Grade II, and takes a shine to undercover work, which despite everyone's misgivings, she excels at, so much so she gets a coveted invitation to the specialist undercover training school. Lucy is bubbly, a bit of an oversharer, prankster, and a damn good cop. Nothing makes her day more than giving her Training Officer Tim Bradford a run for his money.

Selphie Tilmett
Final Fantasy VIII
Upbeat and childish in nature, Selphie is a hyperactive ball of energy that is out to cheer every single person up around her, that cheerfulness was born of desperation. Selphie doesn’t acknowledge her early life, the trauma of being orphaned and growing up without her parents. She’s loyal to a fault, and usually uses her cheerful nature to guilt people into helping ger with the Garden Festival Committee planning events for the school. Selphie is a skilled magic user, being one of the few who can cast spells from a wide pool without having drawn the magic from enemies or her surroundings. Acing her SeeD exam and becoming a mercenary for the Garden upon her graduation, Selphie wields nunchucku, with frightening accuracy. She alsio throws a really great party FYI.

Sylvie Brett
Chicago Fire
Paramedic in Charge assigned to ambulance 61, Sylvie has seen her fair share of insane things on the job, from being held at gun point, to people hanging off buildings, a train car ending up embedded in a high rise and fires. So many fires. Sylvie is famed for being unlucky in love, having a string of relationships which have failed for reasons outside her control, and the fact she is very much in love with her friends ex. Another relationship that doesn’t last when he moves to the west coast due to caring responsibilities. Sylvie is determined, calm under extreme pressure, caring and yet has the ability to be stern when needed, the latter, is more a product of working in some of Chicagos toughest neighborhoods than her personality, but it saves lives.

Ouyang Zizhen
The Untamed
Zizhen is a junior disciple and heir to the Baling Ouyang Sect. He is at heart a sentimental boy, he can’t help but feel for people, it guides his integrity and bravery. Right down to defending Wei Wuxian against his own father and the leader of the Baling Ouyang Sect, even in the face of deep criticism from the Cultivation community. He will stand by his friends, fiercely loyal, and will throw himself head first into battle for his friends. While his relationship with his father is strained, Zizhen is aware that he is simply really the only choice to succeed his father and to rule the Sect. He bides his time, waiting to be the change he wants to see in the world.

Katherine Bishop
Hawkeye - Marvel 616
Katherine "Kate" Bishop. Best sharpshooter this side of the Atlantic. Or one of the best. While she couldn't be from more of a different world than her name sake, she is built of the same stuff. Resourceful, intelligent, stubborn, sneaky and just a little bit sassy. Daughter of disgraced billionaire Derek Bishop, she can usually be found on the roof top of New York or LA, spending her fathers money on arrows. Mother to one ginger cat and a one eyed golden retriever the three are rumoured to share a singular brain cell.

Denzel
Final Fantasy VII
His last name has been forgotten buried under the rubble of the sector seven plate when it fell and crushed the slums underneath. An orphan who grew up scavenging a living in the poisoned slums of Midgar that were infested and infected with the remnants of Jenova's legacy. While Cloud Strife might be the one who rescued him, he credits the brown haired woman he followed to the church. Though, he is unsure if it was his imagination, or a dream. Really, Tifa was the person who saved him. A figure he could look up to after so much loss, a warmth in the cold nighttime post-apocalyptic the planet seems stuck in. Despite his loss, the pain, and the continual fight with his own tauma...Denzels a kind boy. Always wanting to do the right thing. Everything he does, he throws his heart into.

Yuffie Kisaragi
Final Fantasy VII
The worlds greatest materia hunter! It is rumoured she is only half human and the other half is made of gremlin. While she might be a fierce ninja who can hit a target from a block away, she is also still basically a child. Known for running wild around the rural expanses Yuffie is an insatiable energizer bunny of an explorer and one day dreams of returning her homeland of Wutai to it's former glory.
